With the third multiplayer map pack for Call of Duty: World at War hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in just a few days, developer Treyarch today launched a free application that lets players track in-game stats and news from an iPhone or iPod Touch. To fully utilize the "Call of Duty: World at War Companion," players must first link their PlayStation Network or Xbox Live identities to their account at codwaw.com. Those playing on PC are unable to take full advantage of the app's stat-tracking functionality.
