Real-Life Weather Effects Come to Madden NFL 10 Gamesby Eric Bush
Football loving gamers connected to Xbox LIVE will get the added realism of experiencing more realistic weather in their Madden NFL 10 games this year. EA partnered with The Weather Channel this year to bring up-to-date weather to the on-field games. This means that games played outside your franchise receive real-life forecasts based on the home stadium used. If it is
raining in New York tonight, a game at Giants Stadium will give you the
same temperature, wind speed, and precipitation for the game. Keep your
eyes peeled to The Weather Channel's website in December for the perfect
time to assure yourself that Frozen Tundra achievement for winning at
Lambeau Field in freezing conditions. More impressively, the games played
in your franchise receive similarly realistic weather. The Weather Channel
provided EA with three years worth of weather data for each stadium, giving
your late season games played now a more authentic feel. Hurricane season
just got a silver lining.
