A ton of new Halo 3 information is going to be revealed in the December issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, we have the details of what you can expect inside.
This
news has been
confirmed by 1UP (who are in the same network as EGM), and also
Bungie themselves. While you will obviously need to grab a copy of the magazine yourself for the full lowdown, it would seem this is some of what you can expect:
- Weapons
- Spike Rifle: some sort of brute weapon
- Nail Grenade: will stick to walls and send nails flying everywhere
- Vehicles
- The Mongoose ATV that was scrapped from Halo & Halo 2 has made it to Halo 3. It is designed for quick travel, has 2 seats and no guns
- Multiplayer
- One of the new maps, Valhalla, is already being called "the new Blood Gulch"
- Players can still shoot in the air, and also be shot down from the air
- Controls
- Reloading has been moved to the bumpers with separate buttons for each hand you want to reload.
- Other
- There will be three different SKU's - the standard version, collector's edition, and also a "Legendary" edition (which will come with four extra discs of content).
- You will be able to save videos of your single and multi player gameplay (and presumably watch/edit them later).
