Splinter Cell Double Agent

After the addition of the revolutionary “mercenary versus spy” online mode in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, many were expecting to see a new online graphical engine or even a sneak peak at the gameplay at E3. At this time Ubisoft has only released a small bit of information on Double Agent’s multiplayer mode, but more should definitely be revealed in the coming months leading up to the game’s Fall release.

The Splinter Cell series has been one of the most popular and highly rated series on the Xbox console. After minor gameplay tweaks and additions, the series needed a huge overhaul after the third title. Ubisoft Shanghai did an amazing job with Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, which is probably the best Splinter Cell game to date. The elements that are promised for Double Agent are extremely radical and will definitely take away any jadedness you may have towards Splinter Cell at this point. With new hardware and an outstanding engine, this game will definitely have a lot to offer once it’s released. Splinter Cell: Double Agent is currently scheduled to be release in the fall of 2006 on the Xbox 360.
