SEGA Releases Sonic & Knuckles onto Xbox LIVE Arcade

SEGA is excited to release the classic Genesis title Sonic & Knuckles for download on XBLA exclusively. Sonic & Knuckles takes players on an adventure to defeat Robotnik and face the ultimate battle against the newly- repaired Death Egg. Additionally Sonic & Knuckles brings the “lock-on ability” to XBLA which allows players who have already downloaded Sonic 2 and 3 to play through those games as Knuckles and to play Blue Sphere locking-on to Sonic 1. Players who have Sonic 3 can also unlock Hyper Sonic and other hidden characters once they’ve collected all the chaos emeralds in both Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.
