The Live Informant is finally back! After much discussion with Xbox Live developers and our own public relations crew, we have turned what started out as a bi-weekly series into a monthly series to allow for more time to play many of the Xbox Live Arcade titles that are released on a weekly basis. If you have missed out on the first two iterations then fear not, we are willing to fill you in on what The Live Informant is all about. The Live Informant strives to find the most up-to-date information on anything surrounding the Xbox Live service, Xbox Live Arcade and XNA Community Games. We’ve already received positive feedback from developers and readers alike, so without further ado, let’s jump head first into the ocean of games found on Xbox Live.
Today we bring to you five reviews of: Shadow Complex, Defense Grid: The Awakening, Trials HD, The Secret of Monkey Island and Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers on the Xbox Live Arcade. We also are proud to review our very first XNA game in the form of Kodu, Microsoft’s hidden gem on the XNA Community side of things. For the last portion of reviews, we have a short review of Fallout 3’s latest downloadable content that is Mothership Zeta. Moving onto the preview side of things, we have recently had hands-on with Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment, Tower Bloxx Deluxe, and Raystorm HD.
