Midway Games Inc., a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced that it has shipped Blitz: The League for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Bill Romanowski, a 4–time Super Bowl champion and arguably one of the most feared linebackers to play the game, joins Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor as co–cover athlete of Blitz: The League for the Xbox 360 which delivers a host of new features, including new cities, All–Star teams, and achievement points.

Midway's Blitz: The League Overtime for the PSP is expected to ship in December 2006. Blitz: The League is currently also available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft.
