Redmond, WA - October 26, 2009 - “Lips: Number One Hits,” the newest member of the “Lips” family of singing games exclusive to Xbox 360, is now available this month with a themed collection of 40 songs that have reached the number one position on music charts around the world. With hit artists like Coldplay, The Sugababes, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Lady Gaga, “Lips: Number One Hits” is the perfect companion to the first “Lips’” game. Also included with “Lips: Number One Hits” for a limited time is a coupon that lets you choose a pack of five additional songs from Xbox LIVE for free, giving you a total of 45 songs to add to your collection! Along with the 125+ songs and song packs available to purchase from Xbox LIVE, there’s enough content available to keep any party going until the wee hours.
“Lips: Number One Hits” is currently available across North America and Europe and will launch in Asia, Australia and New Zealand on November 26. “Lips: Deutsche Partyknaller,” will be joining the party on October 30th in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium, along with “Lips: Canta en Español,” with addicting Spanish-language songs, launching in Spain and Mexico later this fall.
Along with Avatar integration into the “Lips” franchise for the very first time, a Title Update available now will enable Avatar Awards in “Lips: Number One Hits” so players can earn Avatar Accessories like a hat, shoes and even Lady Gaga’s signature shades to show off that avant-garde style to their friends on Xbox LIVE. Using the motion-sensitive technology of the Xbox 360 Wireless Microphones that come with “Lips” games, Avatars will also jump into the on-screen video at key moments to prompt players to perform song-specific gestures to earn extra points.
For singers who just can’t get enough, there are new Game Add-on songs for “Lips” and “Lips: Number One Hits” for players to expand and customize their “Lips” libraries. For those craving the smooth sounds of soul from the 60s, lighthearted pop that reminds you of waves and cool breezes or upbeat melodies that quench your desires to dance, there is something for everyone in the “Lips” Music store this November.
