Below are the final two choices for our list of top 5 most-anticipated games that are releasing in November 2009, each and every one of them would be a great choice to pick up at your local game store. If we had to choose just one it would be Modern Warfare 2 followed by the game below, Assassin's Creed II.
2. Assassin’s Creed II - Publisher: Ubisoft – Developer: Ubisoft Montreal - Release Date: November 17 - After releasing one of 2007’s most popular titles – and not to mention all the flak they received from critics alike – it was inevitable for Ubisoft to release a sequel to Assassin’s Creed. With a new hero in tow and an all new environment to explore, becoming an assassin is going to be all the rage for the gamers who aren’t foaming at the mouth for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Executing enemies in unique and clever ways, Assassin’s Creed II should be a breath of fresh air for many gamers who are looking to mix it up this holiday.
1. Left 4 Dead 2 - Publisher: Electronic Arts – Developer: Valve - Release Date: November 17 - In a time where everyone was sent running in fear of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, one stood alone to brave the tsunami – namely, Valve and their upcoming sequel to Left 4 Dead. The original served up gameplay that literally was to die for, so expectations for Left 4 Dead 2 have risen and so have the pre-orders at retailers. With a new environment to run free from zombies and new heroes to take the charge, Left 4 Dead 2 should do well this holiday as it’s drastically different in gameplay in comparison to Activision’s shooter. No one will mistake the one for the other and with the holiday season barren with shooters, Left 4 Dead 2 is a viable option for gamers who want to strike down zombies around every corner.
