Microsoft just revealed, via an interview with FastCompany, that the highly-anticipated Xbox 360 dashboard update will be in gamers hands this coming Tuesday - November 17th; included in the download is Twitter and Facebook. We have been using the update over the past couple weeks and our overall impressions of the integrated services and other updates are fairly positive. Once you turn your system on next week it should download (as long as you're connected via the internet) the new dashboard update; the gaming portal application Halo's Waypoint will also be available to users.
The next update to the Xbox Live network will be coming Tuesday, November 17 according to Live's General Manager, Marc Whitten in the recent interview. "It's about how we continue to push the definition of what living room entertainment is about," Whitten also said. From Major Nelson' (Microsoft) website: "I know some of you are already enjoying many of these features through the Preview Program, but I am happy to announce that the next update that contains Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and Zune video will be available to all Xbox LIVE members launch Nov. 17."
