Earlier this weekend the Mass Effect 2 fan page on Facebook was updated by Bioware's very own Chris Preistly. In doing so he revealed some “secret stuff” and a surprise coming to the Mass Effect 2 website on a random day next week. Check out the official statement below and stay tuned for the surprise announcement sometime next week, right here at PlanetXbox360.com:
"Man, so much time tied up today in meetings and “secret stuff” I didn’t get any time with ME2 at all. =( Still with the coming surprise for next week on the ME2 website, I’m sure fans will forgive me for no update. Did I, Evil Chris Priestly, just drop a hint? Yes. Yes I did."
For now we all will just have to wait until next week to see what this surprise is and what aspects of Mass Effect 2 it will relate to or if it will be totally unrelated to the actual game (movie, comic, book, etc). No official date was given, but fans should keep watch on the Mass Effect 2 website (link below) over the next few days. The highly-anticipated RPG game will hit retail shelves in late January 2010.
