The highly-anticipated downloadable demo of Platinum Games' combat-infused shooter Bayonetta is coming to North America and Europe on next Thursday, December 3rd, 2009, mega-publisher SEGA revealed today. The demo has been available for some time via the Japanese store and for those lucky gamers who scored a code from SEGA.
Arriving in both the PlayStation 3's PSN Store and the Xbox 360's Xbox LIVE Marketplace on that day, the demo provides a playable snippet of the latest title from Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, in which players take control of an angel-slaying beautiful psychopath clothed by her own magical hair (and little else). She also has guns in her shoes and a big ass sword.
The extremely over-the-top action game hits North American retailers on January 5th, with European stores getting it January 8th. Both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have already been released in Japan, where they received a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu and high scores from other reputable outlets.
