4. Project Natal: No, it isn't out yet, but we know when it is coming and it gives us all as 360 owners something to look forward to. Sure, Nintendo did the whole motion control thing first and Sony jumped on the bandwagon with that weird motion wand controller, but Microsoft's Natal, oh that just got voted one of the 50 greatest innovations of 2009 if you haven't heard. Call me crazy, but this is sincerely yet another case of Microsoft taking something that an alternate company may have been toying with in a very primitive fashion and making it awesome. The ability to approach my 360 and have it sign me into my profile via facial recognition is enough to make my inner geek squeal like a little girl and the overall motion control potential seems solid if no totally viable to capture an unprecedented amount of innovative immersion in the world of game development. Suffice to say, Microsoft brought enough new features to the table with the product for it to outdo what was currently available and on top of it, you don't have to wear a dorky vitality nub on your finger. So, thank you Microsoft for that, you made E3 great this year and I can't wait for Natal so I can try flailing my limbs like an idiot all over again.

3. Microsoft's Stance on Piracy: I'll be the first to admit it; I used to have one of those linker cartridges for my Nintendo DS. But once I started having a job, I felt it was time to grow up a little and actually pay people for the things I loved so much. So I bought all the games that had been on my linker and to this day, the thing still sits in my drawer unused. I firmly believe that piracy when it comes to video games is wrong, any single way you spin it. I don't care if you can afford a 360 and the ability to mod it, if that’s the case, you sure be able to afford the games too. What do you think, games grow on trees? Hell no they don’t grow on trees otherwise all we would be playing would be titles like, “Hickory Oaks and the Wild Leaf Adventures” and why would anyone want to play that? You see, if you want the people who make the games you like to continue being able to make games, then you have to develop an understanding that you need to, on some financial level, support them and their projects. That is how it works in the whole chain of cause and effect. If you don’t like it, don’t get upset when Microsoft hunts down your modded 360 and bans you from Live forever. Oh, and do us all a favor and please don’t be a dick and try and resell your blackballed 360 on eBay or Craigslist, show a little class. For those of you who do take the legitimate route, I’m thankful for those of you out there who do and I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
