Ubisoft today announced plans for two downloadable content (DLC) packs for the recently released mega-hit, Assassin's Creed II. According to a PR representative, the first installment, titled Battle for Forli, will launch in January 2010, with the second add-on, Bonfire of the Vanities, coming a month later in February 2010.

No other details about the add-ons, such as how they will interact into the main game's story or specific pricing details, was offered, though the publisher said that you must have a retail copy of Assassin's Creed II to play the DLC and at least 1GB of hard-drive space for each of them. To us this hints at new level content, because of the size of the proposed downloads. Stay tuned to PlanetXbox360.com for more details on the highly-anticipated DLC as it comes in.
