Our Top 10 Most Anticipated Games of 2010 were hard to narrow down as we felt there were at least 15 other games that could’ve made our list. 10. Alan Wake – May 2010: This highly-anticipated choice is not surprising anyone, Alan Wake was delayed from 2009 to 2010, and thus, has made our list once again. This is going to be a graphical benchmark title for Microsoft, so expect them to throw everything they got when it comes to marketing and advertising once it releases. Will the survival-horror genre peak this generation with Alan Wake? We will soon find out.
9. Dead Rising 2 – Late Spring 2010: Moving away from the mall and setting gamers within Sin City (Las Vegas, Nevada), Dead Rising 2 is shaping up to be a thrilling action title that delivers the zombies goods. Women love vampires. Men love zombies. That’s just how things are. Expect the male demographics on the Xbox 360 to accept Dead Rising 2 with open arms halfway through the year.

8. Max Payne 3 – Winter 2010: Rockstar Vancouver is behind the helm for the sequel to Remedy Studios’ baby, Max Payne. Can the grizzled and depress Max Payne return to form with the third title in the unexpected trilogy that helped push the standards for bullet-time gameplay? We can only hope for the best from our artsy and dark action series from Rockstar Studios.
