Mass Effect 2 Teaser-Trailer Features Cinematic Footage

With all the craziness of the 2009 Video Game Awards this weekend we almost overlooked a brand new teaser-trailer for Mass Effect 2 (cinematic); which teases a full-length trailer hitting Xbox LIVE on December 22, 2009. View the teaser video below and stay tuned for the complete thing later this month; only EA and Bioware would have the guts to release something this weekend with all the other news flying around. Thankfully anything regarding the Mass Effect universe will get our utmost attention; the highly-anticipated sequel hits store shelves in February 2010.
Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.
