Are you one of the Xbox 360 owners who went out and purchased a wireless headset, only to find you can't seem to get it working right? Well according to forum posts both here and on Xbox.com, you aren't alone.
Many gamers have talked about other players not being able to hear them, lots of beeping, and drops in and out of coverage for the wireless device. Thus far Microsoft have seemingly not responded to calls for support, with many customer service reps stating that they are unaware of any issues with the headset when purchasers rang up to complain.
The following post from BuckRogers007 in our forums seems to sum up most complaints (note this is an unedited forum post and as such may contain spelling and grammar errors):
Anyone in here bought it having trouble with it disconnecting and reconnecting? As long as im sitting in front of the 360 playing its ok but i get some complaints now that my mic is making an irritating and loud humming sound sometimes and have to power off/on. but if im chatting or what not i'll turn my head or walk a short distance from the 360 and i'll lose connection with my headset but my controller is still fine. then i'll have to walk up to the 360 and it will beep and re-establish connection. Logitechs old wireless head set was better IMO. No noises, a fancy ear clip design that i thought was pretty comfortable instead of this cheap rubber loop. and i could walk very far away from the controller and not lose connection just get more static the farther away you were. but this one you lose total connection so voices come through TV. which to me makes wireless pointless. But i'll return it for a new one in hopes that mine was just faulty. If anyone else bought one can you let me know if your having same dissapointments.Read more in our hardware forums
