Gears of War for the PC may have been accidentally announced early, with the coming issue of PC Gamer magazine showing a picture featuring the game as a "Games for Windows" title.
Page 28 of the issue shows a Microsoft Studios feature, picturing an in-store display case with a Games for Windows PC, and what looks to be three Gears of War for PC boxes below.
Microsoft have thus far refused to comment on the find, however Gears of War showing up on the PC at some stage should surprise no one, with several previous rumors of a PC version having done the rounds, and the likelihood that Gears on a PC would be a smash hit.
