Dutch website Xbox 360 Only has revealed some new details about the improvements being planned for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. The sequel to one of the most popular games for the 360 is due to hit stores in the first quarter of 2007.
Unless you can read Dutch, you will be forced to wade through a
hacked translation of the site. If you want to save your brain the effort, just know that G.R.A.W.2 will sport upgraded particle effects, dynamic weather, stronger enemy AI and an improved Cross-Com.
The particle effects will include smoke that moves and swirls around objects and characters. The dynamic weather is said to include water effects that will cause water levels to rise in the game after a rain. Enemies will make better use of the map, if the original wasn't tough enough for you. Luckily the new Cross-Com will do a better job of identifying threats and letting you know the type of enemy you are facing (whether sniper or machine gunner or rifleman).
The storyline is said to follow the course of three days and takes you back to the Mexican border. As always, this information is not confirmed, but seems like a good peek into what we can expect for next year.
