After weeks of deliberation and in-house arguing, we have finally narrowed down our picks for the Top 10 Sleeper Hits of 2010. It was a long process of eliminating titles that may or may not be overlooked, so we decided on a solid ten gaming picks that we feel need more attention and love from the gaming community - and in the end will be worth every second of game time. These are the top 10 games coming out next year that we think, even though they are not on everyone's radar, will score some high reviews and make major bucks in the sales department.
10. Army of Two: The 40 Day – January 12, 2010 - Furthering what they started with the disappointing original, Electronic Arts and EA Montreal are ready to deliver what they promised with the first – an in-depth action title that revolves around a cooperative experience. Cooperative moves will be available at any time and the computer AI is said to be much better than it was in the past. If these two elements are tweaked and perfected, gamers should be in for long nights of entertainment with their friends as they battle through the campaign. Army of Two: The 40th Day features a bigger playbook of new co-op moves that either player can use at any time, opening up new strategies and countless choices for both players. The result is a bigger, better, more organic and immersive co-op experience that lets gamers put their best two-man tactics to use whenever and wherever they want.

9. Just Cause 2 – March 23, 2010 - The original Just Cause was a much more about the arcade experience than a surreal take on life in South America. The sequel is promising for more over-the-top action as players will be sky diving from air planes, hijacking boats and much more. Just Cause 2 has also received a graphical upgrade that I have seen in person and it is absolutely gorgeous. With more stunts, vehicles and weapons than ever before and an incredible overhauled grappling hook, Rico returns to action in Panau, an incredibly detailed and vast 1000 sq km game world of different climates and ultra-realistic weather effects. Leap from your plane and skydive from 10,000 feet down into a tropical jungle, tear across an arid desert in a dune buggy or climb your way up a snowy mountain in a 4x4. The vast open-ended, unique gameplay is back, allowing you full freedom once again to free roam and explore the massive world of Panau and tackle your assignments however you want.
