Mass Effect Trilogy to Conclude on the Xbox 360 Platform
by Eric Bush
Mass Effect 2 project director Casey Hudson has revealed that the previously announced Mass Effect trilogy will complete itself on the Xbox 360, and the final, third installment of the series has no reason to arrive on the next Xbox, whatever that is (but will still be available on the PC as well). Speaking in a video interview with GameZone, Hudson said;
"That was always the intention. You get the Xbox 360 or your PC, but the Xbox 360 is the one that's going to run out of time at some point, and you create your character and play through an entire trilogy on that platform"
Mass Effect 2 is out for Xbox 360 and PC at the end of the month, starting with a US release date of January 26, and January 29 in Europe. Stay tuned for a full review of the highly-anticipated RPG sometime next week, right here at PlanetXbox360.com.
