Up to four players can battle it out on one Xbox 360 in any of the 40+ mini-games. There are games where you play on foot, inside of a tank, or in a pinball machine; this game has it all. There is a demo of FF2 out there on Xbox Live right now if you want to get a feel for a few of the games. In the version we got almost all of them were available and let me tell you that if you are left wanting more after the demo, the full version will certainly quench that thirst for battle. As I said before each of the six planets have their own unique mini-games, and I have listed some of them below in no particular order:
- Loader Madness
- Amoeba Hunting
- Thermal Detonator
- Magma Rumble
- Over the Falls
- Underwater Rumble
- Hot Shot
- Cash Clash
- Mystery Laser Rumble
- Cargo Chaos
- Turret Termination
- Conveyor Smash
- Ice Sculpture
- Ice Billiards

My personal favorite was a mini-game called Super Slam Dunk where a ball is dropped into the stage and the goal is to take the ball by any means necessary and dunk it into the basket that hangs 50 feet in the air. The game makes for some really fun action with friends or by yourself. Fuzion Frenzy 2 could be an overwhelming game that might scare off some younger gamers but the developers made it easy to learn all the min-games by posting directions while the level loads and also allowing you to practice before jumping in for a real battle. The controls are different for each level, some forcing you to only use the left stick while others cause you to press some or all of the buttons to win. For a preview build FF2 is playing very nice and includes enough features, and certainly enough mini-games, to keep the gamer busy for hours. Throw in the online and offline multiplayer modes and it is easily worth the 50-dollar price tag.
Graphically Fuzion Frenzy 2 is shaping up really nicely. Party games have never really been known for their sharp next-gen graphics but a little icing on top of the cake is always nice. The character models look futuristic and all of the level backdrops add to the experience. In the previous version of the game I always felt like we were re-playing the same stage over and over again but with FF2 that feeling is nowhere to be seen. Each of the six unique planets has it’s own graphical look and feel. The lighting effects are also some of the better one’s I have seen in a party game, and nothing to remind you of the first Fuzion Frenzy on the Xbox.

The audio portion is there and probably will not be changed much in the final version. It does what it needs to do and adds to the experience as well. At the end of the day Fuzion Frenzy 2 is going to be the best party game on the Xbox 360 and will be plenty of fun for months to come after its release early next year. With a decent single player campaign and an insanely fun multiplayer mode (both online and offline) this is a must-buy for party game lovers everywhere.
