Capcom Can't Lose the Small Text

by Matt Gibbs

You might remember the issue that some non-HDTV gamers had with Capcom's Dead Rising, well the problem seems to have come up again with their upcoming shooter, Lost Planet.

As their name might suggest, the people over at Angry-Gamer.net are very angry over the issue, which they say completely kills the multiplayer version of the game. Their gripes come from the demo of the game (which was released on Xbox Live recently) and the very small scoreboard text on the left hand side.

Any other developer and you wouldn't worry - assuming the issue would be fixed before launch. However given what happened with Dead Rising, this time we aren't so sure...

Check out the video below to see what all the fuss is about.

they need to patch it. I have a 60inch HDtv, so its not a concern of mine, but i know most of my friends and such do not. My little brother plays games on a 20inch, he wont see a word.

I was really looking forward to this game but I remember how bad Capcom burnt all their loyal customers who bought Dead Rising by not fixing that issue. I do own an HDTV and would not have sufford the pain of small text but decided not to buy the game based on what they did to their loyal non-HDTV customers by not supporting them and now I will not be buying this game either for the same reason! What a shame!

Good thing they took customer feedback from Dead Rising into consideration when they made this one. Good thing I'll be saving sixty bucks by not buying this one.
