GameStop Hosting Midnight Launch Events for Mass Effect 2

Grapevine, TX - January 23, 2010 - GameStop, the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer, announced that it is hosting two-for-one midnight opening events for Electronic Arts’ Mass Effect 2 and Sony Computer Entertainment’s MAG on Monday, Jan. 25, at more than 2,500 stores nationwide. Some locations will give event-goers the chance to test their soldier skills with a tank building challenge, commando dress up contest, grenade launch and other games of skill.

Most participating GameStop locations will open at 10 p.m. local time for the special events with sales starting at midnight; however, customers are asked to contact their local store to confirm the exact time of the event.
