After waiting nearly up to the March 9, 2010 release date for an official confirmation on how many discs Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360 will entail, video game renter GameFly has revealed how many the game will span. While looking at Final Fantasy XIII information on GameFly, gamers discovered the minute detail that the game will ship on the Xbox 360 as a three-disc title. We always knew the game would include more than one DVD as the Playstation 3 version ships on a Blu-Ray disc, which holds much more game data than a standard DVD disc. To be honest we wouldn't really care if it shipped on 20 discs as long as it comes to the Xbox 360 day-on with the Playstation 3 version; stay tuned for our official review of Final Fantasy XIII sometime next month.
Confirmed: “Yes the game is on three DVDs for the 360,” a Square Enix PR representative told gaming blogs, and even more exciting is that "players will only have to swap discs twice during their entire game,” she went on to say.
