Earlier today mega-publisher THQ held their quarterly financial-earnings call and what usually is a boring time spent discussing monetary issues ended up revealing some information on upcoming sequels, including Darksiders and Red Faction. After touting more than 1 million copies of Darksiders sold since it's January 2010 release the company went on to say that a sequel is already in the works and will be released sometime before Q1 2011. Other notable franchises receiving new games in the next 18 months were Red Faction: Guerilla and Saint's Row. Lastly one of my personal favorite titles unveiled at E3 2009, Homefront, will hit the Xbox 360 sometime later this year; although a specific release date wasn't announced.
It's always good to see quality franchises getting more support from their publishing company and THQ looks to have a strong line-up for the next year and a half. UFC Undisputed 2010, slated for a release this upcoming May, will have online multiplayer with new modes and more diverse fighter styles. As always there could be more titles from THQ coming that were not talked about on the financial call, stay tuned to PlanetXbox360.com for more details on everything related to the California-based video game company as it's revealed.
