Austin, Texas game developer Edge of Reality shared several screenshots of their first original game for the Xbox 360, the fast paced spy drama, Cipher Complex. The developer announced the game recently as a next-gen release for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
You might know Edge of Reality for games like Over the Hedge and Shark Tale, which they developed on behalf of other publishers. The developers want to show just how hardcore they can get by creating a completely new property, adding fast paced action to the traditional shadow hugging stealth genre. You can tell from the screnshots that John Cipher - yeah, that's his name - likes to get a lot more face time with his enemies than Sam Fisher does.
In Cipher Complex, a recon satellite is mysteriously blasted from orbit, and when diplomatic requests for information are stonewalled, the US government is forced to call in its last resort – Operative John Cipher. Charged with uncovering the truth by any means necessary, Cipher is going behind enemy lines to extract information the hard way.
