Dude. The Elite.
Its insane.
Im so trading in my xbox 360 for the elite package.
Because when you look at it.
Its nice to have the bigger hard drive, but to have
it be black.
For me, It's better, because its Xbox 360 on top of
Xbox. It'll be awesome!
Also...I've had to send my xb360 back to Microsoft...
Twice alrady, and its looking like it'll be on its
last leg now so I'm putting money on that it'll go back
again sometime in the near future.

It would be nice to have the current 360s working properly before they moved onto a new edition 360. I won't lay down the money for the Elite after having the unpleasant experience of having to send in two 360s for repair. I did finally discover what the "360" stands for...it is the neverending circle from my house to the repair center to my house.... |

wait... arn't memory foam pillows supposed to be white?.. you could also just not buy a 360 at all and wait untill they make an xbox3 (wonder what they'll call that) and buy that instead, im sure they'll let you play original xbox360 games on it, if were not all dead by then, and even if we were thats 470$ less you've spent in your lifetime maybe you'll get some kind of reward for it in the afterlife. |

what exactly does "limited quatities" mean? will you have to be waiting at best buy three days early to get one, or will they be sold for a few months? years? will it be hard to find one? i was just about to buy the orginal xbox with the 20g and i was kind of dissapointed that thats all the space it had, then i saw this and 120g is more than enough space for me, thank god i didnt have enough money to buy it then! i hope these dont have the stupid overheating problems like the first ones |

Supposedly, the elite boxes are supposed to also have the new, quieter drive and some kind of new processor. I haven't read anything official about it so I guess I'm just talking out my ass. |

But the only real advantage is the HDMI output. So, unless you have an older HDTV with no VGA input, or it can't take 1080P over VGA and it had HDMI, there is not reason to change. The HDD will be sold separately, with a transfer kit FROM MS. |

bah. i really thought bout getting one, i even had a friend offer to buy my launch day console..
nah, i get too many movies from blockbuster.com now to worry bout the DL service, and without regularly using that, i dont see a great need for the large HDD. |
