Also, has anybody seen these yet? I was out shopping for one today (as I see no better time to get on board the 360 train) and couldn't find one with the HDMI. |

Well I think that's just fine, as the elites are not only not having problems, but they run cooler and quieter as well! I've read that some of the zephyr components were updated to the 65nm process, just not all of them. So that makes this seem pretty stable. Aren't they referring to this as the "beta" build for the xboxs? |

Good eye with the 'Zephyr' thing. Although I guess that's not horrible news as I haven't heard that the Elites are having the problems that the initial Cores/Premiums do. Still, you'd think the 65nm chips would be added soon since they reduce manufacturing costs. Seeing as this is business and business is about making money, you wouldn't think MS would offer a price cut, 3 year warranty, and retroactive reimbursement without taking steps to lower their costs. I know MS has piles and piles of cash, but still, business is business. |
