My pay range above 175k a year,that doesn't mean I shoud throw away my perfectly good SD TV just for the sake of one stupid developper. How do you think I make so much money,surely not by spending a thousand buck on not reliable technology's. Tell me about your screen in 3 yrs from now. Nice colors you'll have. Hope your game dont have too much saturation....ouf.. |

Oh forgot one thing. If anywhere it would state that HD TV is required to play 360 games,well I would not have bought the system in the first place. It's simple as that. Same for dead rising,they would have told me it required hd,well I would not have bought the game.

First off! For the guys who are flamming me. Well I'm sure that if you ordered a Big Mac and they would give you a Filet O fish instead because it's better for your health,you would cry about it. Not everyone trains at the gym like I do and eat well,leaving you far behind from me and my standards.Everyone(if thinking like you do) that doesn't eat right should not have the right to have food.Come on I'm sure you would cry about it. Else we should stop selling less than a 10mbps per second broadband account since I run at 16mbps and you guys are slowing me down and the technology...issshh good thinking guys!Or even no more 42inch tv since we have the brand new 60inch set....
Secondly I do work for a game company and we could never think about not realesing a patch to fix that problem.
Thirdly,what do you think the forum are for?Well if you did not realized this yet it's for posting an opinions so dont go saying that we are whining,you are whining because people make complains.
Come on get a Life and you wont be able to get you a HD TV!

Some of you guys need to understand that A LOT of people still have only a ST TV. Some of us cant afford to run out and drop a thousand bucks on a TV just to play games on when we have bills, kids, school tuition to worry about. Game developers need to realize that and program games so ST and HD users are happy. Test the games out on both TVs before shipping. I know this is suppose to be next gen gaming but myself and a lot of my friends arent able to afford an HD TV at the moment. Im sure Capcom couldve used text that looked great on both TVs and they shouldve known it would be a problem that a lot of gamers arent able to even read what the hell theyre suppose to be doing in the game. Dead Rising was a somewhat amusing game but the text just did it in for me so it went to eBay. |

you guys cry alot.. as of 07 they arent even gonna make SD tv's anymore.. dont you realize you are very far behind the times :). I think its bunk for you guys to whine about how things should be geared twards SD tvs.. they are OBSOLETE. why would you gear twards the bottom of the barrel? you would never push forward with that perspective. HDTVs are not that expencive anymore and gettign cheaper every day.. get a job at somewhere other than McD's if you cant afford one. For the price you paid for your next-gen, HD video game console, you can get a hdtv.

First off I just want to say that the game rocks. The HDTV side of things with the text is a bunch of crap and should be addressed and I do beleive that a fix would not be that hard. And as for what DSMOOTH said about getting with the times only about 10% off people have HD and only about 40% of xbox users have HD...I am happy to say that my roomie just got a phat HD so I can now play the story on Dead Rising and read the text...I am excited...but not everyone has HD and I think Capcom messed up by excluding such a big market. |

I dont agree with you mark. I know i'm not being positive and yes there is tons of good things about this game. But if you read well,the Title isn't actually good news,that's the points of our post. Just wait until you see one of my post depicting the good side of a game. It all Depends on the topic my friend ;) |

Maybe you guys misunderstood me. I love to play videogames, and it seems that all people do now is criticize what is wrong instead of focusing on what is good. Everyone is always so negative. I like to look at the positive of things. There are a lot of things wrong that I find with Dead Rising but there are a lot of things that are awesome as well. I feel the postives out weigh the negatives. |

Yeah! Well i go to agree Evilvet about the QC procedure At microsfot. Dont forget that this is listed A severity bug in there certification sheet. The point is not that it is not enjoyable. the point is if you settle for less while paying a more expensive price you are being ripped off. It start small with one compan then oother ones will follow. Who cares they're always be somebody to buy the craps. That's where it should stop,we pay 80 bucks we shoudl be at least warnded that it would take and hdtv to play it.this way I could choose to buy or not to buy the game.I have a 27inch SDTV,brand new from last summer and all other games are fine.Dont forget that the fonts were readable in the demo.
Microsft dealt with capcom and surely couldn't miss the money opporutnity. I just wish capcom would take their responsabilty as well as microsoft. |

nelson is right, marc madness is wrong. we shouldn't be beta testing games, and pretend to TOTALLY love it like there's nothing wrong. we shouldn't have to fill our drives with patches, that crap is for PC games. microsofty needs to bust out the QC patrol, and get games to playstation standards, or they'll continue to bash the lower american quality around the world. even when a japanese company gets lazy, the XBOX brand name will suffer. sony would have sent this game back. (believe me, i'm no sony plant... i've posted before about how i've gone through several crappy ps1's and 2's..yet still have my original xbox, and 360...it's the GAMES that i'm pissed about) |

Hey all, I certainly didn't intend to get people all worked up. I'm not a fan of the no-patch decision and I'd hate to think we were beta testing games at $60 a pop, but I know lots of people have been having a blast with this game, even on SDTV. Letting Capcom know you're unhappy is a great idea, and enjoying the game if you're happy with it is another great idea. Hopefully, in a year we'll have dozens more games to choose from, and we'll all find a decent game for our tastes and our patience. My vote is for jump-scare zombies; I'm still a kid at heart. |

philthy77 and Evilvet need to chill!!! The game looks awesome on my 30" HDTV, so maybe you have a problem with your tv. If you guys don't like it, don't buy the game. Or, better yet, try it out first to see if you like it or not.

I am now trying to get this game banned from Montreal, I spoke today with the consumer protection office, and since capcom doesn't specify that Hd is required to play they are exposing themself to prosecution. Also they might be finned as much as 1000 000 dollars if they dont resolve this problem or dont re-imburse the product!
**** those As@#@#@! If nothing is to be done with capcom,others wont car and you'll get ripped off.
