MTV Games and Harmonix revealed that the followup to Harmonix's critically acclaimed The Beatles: Rock Band will not be based on The Who, as previously predicted, but instead will focus on punk band Green Day. While little information is known at this time, it was implied that the content and focus of the game will be similar to that of The Beatles: Rock Band, with an aim to present Green Day's music in a historical context to their careers and lives. Green Day: Rock Band is believed to be slated for Fall 2010.
